This was a good choice for a weeks holiday as we had a junior suite
which meant that we had a lounge area and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms
together with a kitchen. THe kitchen was well equipped although there
were no instructions on how to use the cookers. THe balcony was possibly
the tiniest balcony I have ever seen! The hotel is on the edge of town
but right next to the main lifts. It cost $34 A DAY to park our car so
after 1 day we found an overnight car park on the other side of town
which was free. We are a family of five but we only had 4 dining chairs
which was rectified after asking twice. The hotel is lovely and clean
and the pool and Jacuzzi area a real pleasure. On our last night we
discovered a fantastic laundry room on each floor but this was not
advertised in any of the literature. Front office staff were very
friendly and helpful

Loved this hotel! Keep in mind that each unit is a little different, so
my brother's family got one that was very different from ours for the
same rate. Like having the full kitchen! Great lobby and location. A
little weak on the dining options, wish they had a coffee hut type thing
for breakfast, had to walk down to Starbucks. Nice pool area, although
small. It's one of the farther out hotels in Whistler, but still very
convenient to the town and ski lifts. Would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything about this hotel. Staff were friendly. We had a
lovely room with a high ceiling and a sofa in front of the fire.
Cocktails in the bar were delicious and much cheaper than they would be
at a similar hotel in Australia (much cheaper than the Fairmont in
Whistler too). The location was perfect - so convenient! No complaints
whatsoever. We would stay here again if we visited Whistler and it
certainly reflects well on the Westin name.

The Westin is a great hotel - it really lived up to the Starwood Hotel
name. A big plus was getting a great price in a last-minute deal - this
ended up being $134 inc. taxes plus $30 parking. The parking fee seems
expensive but in the context of staying at Whistler it's not a bad deal
since it also is valid for the entire next day (ie. ends up being $15 a
day which is the price of parking anywhere in Whistler). Internet also
has a charge though I didn't use it.
The Lobby is pleasant with welcome drinks and a Nintendo Wii set up with
a large flat-screen TV (for the kids). The staff are extremely efficient
and friendly (checking in took about 40 seconds) - they were very
relaxed and had plenty of time to smile and make us feel welcome.
We stayed in the Junior Suite which is 1 king bed plus a fold out
queen-sized bed/couch; includes a large flat screen, kitchen area (with
microwave, stove top, fridge, coffee maker) plus a bathtub and separate
shower. There is also a gas fire place in the room which makes it just
that little more cosy.
The room was a generous size - we were actually quite (pleasantly)
surprised at the cleanliness and level of comfort in the room. The bed
was very large and pillows super-comfortable. The view was magnificent
(especially surprising since we were in the cheaper rooms).
The soap, shampoo and conditioner were all good quality and little
touches like the soft-closing toilet seat are a treat.
I had read some negative reviews online so expected something quite bad
- but the Westin actually surpassed all my expectations of a quality
hotel.
Great staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, a decent kitchen (with
free coffee) and large bathroom - all these things equate to a well run
hotel and a great stay in Whistler.
Thank you Westin!

We just returned from our stay in Whistler. Our accommodations were
beyond comfortable. And the location couldn't be better. Convenient to
everything.
Beware of the $30 a day parking charge, a large fee to use the internet,
and charge for local phone calls.

What ever you do, don't bring your computer, I was there for a 3 day
convention, and paid $15. per day for computer access in our rooms, but
that is 'PER COMPUTER', not only that, it was an unsecure site, so my
computer got hacked and I LOST ALL MY HARDDRIVE!!!. Otherwise, nice
hotel...clean rooms, but just so disappointed in my computer and the
internet service.

Great location but that is the best this hotel has going for it. The
bedrooms are very small so if you're traveling with more than two
people, it will be extremely cozy. Even being a Platinum SPG member, the
supposed upgrade is not impressive. The spa and services are equally
mediocre but expensive!

I traveled to Whistler alone.... I was quite excited to see and
experience the natural beauty after watching the Olympics in February.
The staff were very knowledgeable in creating my days of adventure
whether it be on the mountain or in the great restaurants they
recommended. I would definitely come back again and bring some friends
to share in the experience. I love the outdoor hotub and pool !!!! GREAT
location on the mountain !!!

We have been coming to this Hotel for 10 years, 3-4 times a year and the
prices keep going up and the service keeps going down. I would have
thought that the renovations for the Olympics would have made the Hotel
better but they still have noisy hallways that allow sounds and
conversations to penetrate into your room as well as you can hear
everything in the room next door.
The Hotel had booked a dance competition during our stay and there were
young kids running up and down the halls and no one at the Hotel seemed
to care. Granted it is ultimately the parents responsibility to control
their children but the Hotel has to take control of common areas.
Regardless of the current bad experience the Hotel has gone down hill,
premises and staff. The Fairmont and Four Seasons are better bets as
well as the Crystal Lodge if you want to stay in the Lower Village.

We stayed here through our RCI affiliation. We had 2 bedroom suite (a 1
bedroom with a lock off). The 1 bedroom has a double bed in a separate
bedroom and a kitchen. the lock off room has a king size bed with the
kitchen. We have an infant and a toddler and this is perfect. The rooms
are cleaned daily, unlike other RCI resorts. If we had known we would
have brought our dog. Just found out that dogs are free and they provide
a dog bed as well! Next time. For activities, there is a heated pool,
indoor/outdoor, there is a wii (although not working during our stay).
Staff are friendly and helpful. The spa is very good. I tried the milk
bath and the facial and was very happy afterward. Overall, we would stay
here again.
