Stayed here for a couple of nights back in September. Room was a sort of squeezed in room between the two aspects of the hotel. So room had a small single door to balcony overlooking pool and the ski lifts. The room widens out from the balcony like a cheese slice. When we walked in the room - no visible bed!! It was a pull down bed. Bit surprised, but in the end we liked the space during the day. Room was very clean. It had a seating area, small kitchen.
Really great location especially if you go in the winter as it's right next to the ski lifts. At the end of the village, but as village is small, makes it a great location again. All in all a great place to stay - next time we'll come back in the winter and ski whistler!!!

This place is awesome! The staff was really nice and attentive to our needs. Whenever we walked passed the front desk, they made sure we had everything we needed. We liked the fact that it was right on the mountain and we could store our skis in the locker room provided. You can rent skis and get lift tickets (at a discount w/ them if you book in advance 72 hr). We used the kitchen in our room to cook all of our meals. There is a great grocery store in town where you can find all kinds of unusual vacation goodies. You can walk to everything. Also, the outside hot tubs and pool are great. But we especially loved the steam room. We can't wait to go back! (oh -- we were curious about the whistler village center and walked over to compare -- they are basically next door to each other. The village center was more modern but also very nice. we liked the mountain feel of the our hotel. Also, there is a managers welcome at the village center between 4 and 5 -- you can get a free beer/wine and chat it up with other skiers).

Great Hotel, beautiful room, luxurious sheets, towels, amenities. Extremely friendly and accommodating service staff. Closest hotel to the mountain gondolas, just retrieve your skis from ski valet, walk a few feet and up the mountain you go! Nice spa, workout room and talked to others that have stayed there many times and they love it too.
Would love to go back soon!!

We were SO thrilled with this hotel that we extended our stay two nights! Rooms gorgeous, clean, comfy and all-around wonderful! Loved the kitchen amenity, and separate bedroom. We had a room on the 7th floor that overlooked the ski/bike runs, and loved it! Staff so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff fabulous, considerate, friendly and wonderful. Seriously, can't say enough good things about this place, and I'm a really hard grader! I give it an A+++! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a great hotel - we had a fantastic suite with bedroom, studio, bathroom and kitchenette and it was just perfect with 2 40" flatscreens and a gas fire. Also, a stone's throw from the lifts so great after a day's skiing. Staff were friendly and helpful and room kept impeccably clean. So much better than any 4* hotel you would find in the UK.

Everything was perfect and well organized by all that was involved.
The whole resort has all the small stuff taken care of from perfect temp hot tubs to great food in all restaurants to the edge pass. I clearly see why this is the best ski resort in the world. I challenge you to find something bad and if you do it will be taken care of properly.
Prices were not over the top and they even have a food store with great five dollar sandwiches if that's all you want, Ciccas restaurant was great to my wife and my son. The Irish pub was great. Even Gordon Ramsy's Araxies was casually inviting, The chefs did a great job at all places we went to and the service was excellent as well except at blacks pub a little over priced for drinks and slow service. Not the end of the world though at Blacks pup it was like a slow lounge
from the seventies but needs to upgrade glass ware and make you feel like you are blown away with the weird bar beverage mix that costs 12.95 a drink. We did bar hop one night just to experience all the village has to offer and overall it was one of the best service experiences of my life. The Pan Pacific is the location to stay and our only mistake was we should have ate more at our hotel Irish Pub. But not enough time.
Congrats to all levels of management and staff in all facilities for a Christmas and new years well enjoyed, I am quite positive you will all get the job done for 2010 Olympics and beyond

This was a great hotel (as long as you can look after yourself for food and drink etc). I say this because there is no hotel restaurant but very helpful staff behind the reception. We ate out most nights and had breakfast in the room as there are basic cooking facilities. this saved a fortune.

We paid £76($121) a night through Canadian affairs which got us a studio suite with a bed that folded down from wall and a small sofa bed, small balcony fire place. table and chairs. plenty of storage space. lovely bathroom small kitchenette with cooker/job. fridge freezer with ice cubes in. dishwasher etc.

The Air Con was great which was needed when it was 36C. One small complaint is that the old TV in the cabinet can't be seen from the bed which was annoying.

Outside was great swimming pool with 2 outdoor Jacuzzis. inside there is a running machine and steam room shower etc which is great) There are also washers and dryers available so you can wash clothes and avoid having to pack so much. They are also a tenth of the price of the laundry costs and you can go for a swim whilst you wait for them to finish.

I can't imagine a better location for the winter season as you are 10m from lifts. secure parking and secure storage for bikes skis snowboards etc. fantastic location. Although it is about 3 times the price!!

Also Free WIFI is available.

Having made several weekend trips to Whistler, the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside has always been our favourite place to stay.

This trip, we booked a studio room with a valley view, and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 1-bedroom (Valley view) on the top floor. The hotel rooms are very beautifully done, and we especially enjoyed the gas-fireplace. We enjoyed using the hot tubs and sauna!

We will be returning again!
