We stayed here after cashing in an excessive number of Hilton Honours
points (everything in Whistler is suffering from post Olympic
inflation). The room was gorgeous, but the place isn't as well managed
as a 4 star property should be. The whole experience felt a little like
being nickel and dimed to death. Parking wasn't included with the
honours points-even when asked (which by my experience is unusual). We
are Gold-VIP members and had 2 children with us, but we were only given
2 passes for the continental breakfast. All minor points, but a 4 star
property should blow you away. The property was great, but for the extra
$50 to $60 they squeezed out of us they took away from the overall
experience.

Hotel was fine. Breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant. Location is
great.
However, bring your earplugs. The fan in the AC was so loud we had to
either suffer the heat or try to sleep in a wind tunnel. I should have
merely opened the window.
Who designs these in room heat/AC units anyway? Do they ever try them
out? I note someone else had the same problem

Our welcome was very warm, friendly, and all staff helpful. The
receptionist. check in, concierge, and parking personnel all great. Our
queen suite had a balcony with glass doors and another window both
overlooking Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The bed was very
comfortable with very cozy, upscale linens and comforters. The fireplace
and other decor was chic and lovely. Our room was quiet. The location
just steps from the gondola and perfect for skiing. We could walk
through the lobby and right out into Whistler Village to shops and
restaurants. The kitchenette had everything we needed, even a
dishwasher. There were comfy robes and slippers plus Crabtree and Evelyn
toiletries. We would definitely recommend the Whistler Hilton.

Had a easy check-in. Rooms were clean, restaurants clean and food good
and not pretentious. Definitely will come back. Flawless.

I stayed at the Hilton Whistler Resort in April for a conference. I
looked online for reasonably priced hotels in the village and was
surprised that the Hilton was among the cheapest for that week. The room
was a spacious queen with a mini kitchen, but was on the ground floor
right next to a walkway so I couldn't keep the curtains open. Also there
was a lot of noise from the lobby piano and a restaurant which were just
around the hallway corner and sometimes people were loud until midnight.
The worst problem was the heating system. The fan was so loud it would
wake me up when it came on. I have stayed in many hotels and never
encountered one that loud. I asked the front desk to have it fixed. They
had a people working on it a couple of days and then left a note saying
it was fixed...but it was exactly the same. At that point I just turned
the heat off for the last two days whenever I need to sleep. A pity I
had these problems because otherwise the place was good. Rooms were
clean, front desk staff were helpful, but had no answer about why the
fan couldn't be quieted. Location is really good, right near the
gondolas to both mountains and close to many restaurants. I might stay
there again, but next time I wouldn't give them a couple days to fix
something and would ask for another room.

We recently stayed at the Hilton for two nights. The King Suite offered
really spacious accommodation and I loved the fireplace in the room. I
agree with the last review that the rooms were a little chilly but once
the fire had been lit it was lovely and cozy.
I must make a special mention about the Bell Man who was a lovely
Australian guy who couldn't do enough to help us, which was so
appreciated as we checked in with many bags after a three week long
trip.
The outside pool and inside hot tub were also great
My only suggestion would be that the Internet access in the room should
be provided free of charge.

This is a lovely hotel with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Food was
pretty good, workout area is fine, nice public areas, helpful staff. I
loved the mountain chic decor in-room fireplace and Crabree & Evelyn
toiletries. I was travelling with several people and we all found our
rooms were really cold. I visited several of the more upscale hotels and
looked at some of their rooms - thought the Hilton was one of the best.

This is the third time that we have stayed at the Hilton Whistler and we
will be coming back for a fourth. The location is fantastic, the rooms
are large and clean, the concierge is extremely helpful, and the
Cinnamon Bear Bar is great for apres. If you are looking to stay close
to the slopes and want to take advantage of what the village has to
offer, I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I are from Australia and stayed for a week in the lead up to the
Olympics. The Hilton is nice and we had no problems, but it is nothing special.
The hotel is quite large and typical of a large chain hotel i.e no problems, but
nothing special.
The rooms were fine, the kitchenette was nice and clean and fully equipped, but
it obviously lacks the nice little touches that smaller hotels give you.
The staff were helpful and polite and the only issues that we had were:
- exorbitant internet charges in the room
- vending machines weren't full
- dodgy elevators
