Hotel Review of the Crystal Lodge Hotel
Whistler

This could have turned into a disaster, but resulted in the most romantic,
fabulous place we've ever stayed. My husband booked the room for our 10th
anniversary, but accidentally booked a room with two double beds. When I got the
email confirmation, I called to see if I could fix it. Rick in reservations at
the Crystal Hotel in Whistler was able to transfer us to a king room.
Upon arrival, we were floored by the friendliness. The front desk girl was
really friendly and gave us some great dinner suggestions. When we got to the
room, we were impressed by the cleanliness, style and comfort. There was a Happy
Anniversary card from the staff with a box of chocolates, too! Later, in the
lobby, the front desk girl handed me a bottle of champagne for our anniversary
night! The bed was so comfortable, we'd like to find out the brand so we can
have one when our current mattress wears out!
I have never been treated so royally at a hotel! We truly felt welcome, like we
were part of the family. The location can't be beat and the value is really
exceptional. We will be repeat customers for life!

The Crystal Hotel in Whistler location is perfect and the price was great. We had a good time. Have stayed
in other hotels in the village, but this is one of the best. Take advantage of
the free shuttle ride and visit the Squamish/Lil'Wat Cultural Centre...very
interesting and enjoy a hike to the Lost Lake.

We stayed here for one night in June 2009. The hotel staff were friendly and the
hotel is located in the centre of Whistler. The room was a little bit small for
longer stays and the hotel location might mean it would be a bit noisy at the
weekends. Overall, good value.

After booking a double room on
www.allure-hotels.com we ended up taking up an offer given to us on
arrival to upgrade to one of the newer self contained deluxe rooms...good choice
for the few extra dollars. The room contained a well equipped small kitchenette,
the most comfortable king size bed and pillows and plenty of lounge space to
relax after our busy day in Whistler. The bathroom was well appointed - even
with a night light. The balcony from the room overlooked the Village Stroll and
within easy walking distance of the Whistler Blackcomb gondolas, restaurants
etc. Staff were most obliging and courteous, also there was complimentary
internet access in the small business centre. All in all my husband & I both
agreed we couldn't of asked for more.
