Hotel Review of the Executive Inn At Whistler Village
Sept 30 , 2009
The beds! No lift - and had to use a step stool to get into the bathtub! The
room was very good. Staff were nice. Location couldn't be beat. Difficult to
find hotel at night so best to arrive during daylight hours.

During the 30 or so years my wife and I have skied at Whistler, we have
experienced a wide range of accommodation, from the 5-star Fairmont Chateau
Whistler Resort to the 1-star (if even that!) Ski Boot Motel. For the last 14
seasons we have chosen to stay exclusively at the Executive Inn (formerly the
Fireplace Inn). In terms of value, location, cleanliness, but especially quality
of service, from General Manager Robert Hayward through his entire staff, we
simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else! In fact, we have never enjoyed
greater consideration and respect during the course of our travels, including
several trips abroad. We shall eagerly look forward to many return visits to
Whistler Executive Inn, especially considering the extensive renovation
currently taking place (the elevator will be a most welcome addition, given
imminent knee-replacement surgery!).

The Whistler Executive Inn was in the heart of town...room came with Jacuzzi,
fireplace, etc. Great price for Whistler. We liked the location pretty
centralized to everything we wanted in the village. The views from the balcony
were great. The rooms need updating but over all we had a good stay. |
