The Victoria Conference Centre
is proud to offer a rare feature in convention facilities: a Lecture
Theatre with permanent tiered seating for 400. The depth of the stage
allows for rear projection audiovisual presentations. With a full depth
stage and built-in projection and translation booths and writing tablets
at each seat, the Lecture Theatre is the perfect environment in which to
deliver your important educational message.
Our 14,000 square foot Carson Hall is a
carpeted room that has 23-foot high ceilings and is vehicle accessible.
It is also divisible into three equal salons. Built-in translation
booths, programmable light controls and full high-tech capabilities are
some of the features of this room. Seating for 1500, meal service for
1080 and space for 100 exhibit booths ensure that this large and
versatile room measures up for everything.
Our 14 breakout rooms with theatre style
seating for 10-200 people are second to none in beauty and comfort. Many
have floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall windows with blackout drapes. The
Sidney, Metchosin, Langford, Colwood and View Royal rooms are
affectionately named after Victoria's surrounding communities. Your
guests will appreciate the natural light and roominess of 11-foot
ceilings.
