Well, I stayed at the hotel. It was nice and clean. Had a outdoor BBQ and a pretty decent outdoor pool too. I didn't really talk to the housekeeping staff cause I was working all day. But after work I would talk to the front desk staff. They were really nice, and not bad looking either if I do say so myself :p I lost my cell phone while I was there and I was emailed immediately when it was found. They sent it out to me express overnight delivery. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I got it and that I was happy. I will definitely stay here again!

The apartment suite is great for a large family; can't beat the pricing, especially with the manager's special which included meal coupons for the new bistro. There was some confusion with both check-in and check-out procedures, which was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the beds were very comfortable and the cleaning ladies were charming. The waitress in the bistro was accommodating to my younger children and the food was excellent; it was very much appreciated that side dishes were available that youngsters can enjoy along with more adult-orientated dining. There seems to be limited hot water in the evening and the taps were difficult to adjust to get a good temperature. There was plenty of hot water in the morning. The little kitchen was great and it was nice to have it separated from the living area. The view to the Gorge was pleasant also. This hotel is easy to get to from the ferries and to downtown Victoria. A tip is to turn right on Douglas, drive through to Superior, turn right, then turn right again into the museum back parking lot. Park here and then walk throughout the Inner Harbour, Government St., the Wharf, etc

This hotel is very nice, a lot of it looks fairly new (possibly renovated in the last few years?) and is in great shape. A few parts seem to be older, but nicely remodeled - stuff that shouldn't really matter much anyway, like the elevator. While it's not in the heart of Victoria, the bus will take you right there in a few minutes, and runs pretty frequently (even on Sundays, which I found to be very reduced on some routes like at the airport). Many (if not all?) rooms have small balconies with a couple chairs, which I would have loved if the weather were a little warmer (not gonna blame the hotel on that one). My only complaint was that the wifi seemed down, which must have been just bad luck.

Speaking of bad luck, I think I had my share of that for this trip. Well, that and I was a little bit scatterbrained after taking 5 flights to 3 cities in the last 3 days. Starting at the bus stop, I think I pulled something out of my pocket and my keycards (still in envelope with room number) fell onto the ground without me noticing. Thankfully, some kind Canadan brought it to the front desk. Thanks for that, whoever you are. When I realized what happened, I went to the front desk and Roxie gave them to me before I could even open my mouth.

This girl is awesome, I've lost count of the number of times she helped me out with random things... including calling the airport shuttle company and even printing my boarding passes (twice... I had a strange itinerary) when the free computer in the lobby was already taken. Not to mention the conversations we had. If she was sick of talking to me, she couldn't have done a better job of hiding it! Thanks for everything, I'll definitely come back if I'm in Victoria again (which I sure hope I do).

Oh, and at the airport on my way home I realized I left my charger in my room. Yup, bad luck... unfortunately, it will probably cost about as much to get a new one as it would to mail it across the border.

The front desk attendant, Roxy, was very polite and knowledgeable about places to check out in Victoria, which i appreciated greatly. The restaurant in the lobby had delicious food and the liquor store nearby was extremely convenient as well. I had an excellent stay and would definitely come stay here again upon my next trip to Victoria! Thank you Ramada Victoria!

Horrible experience checking in with front desk staff. Cold water from shower. Toilet was running all night. Coffee maker didn't work in morning. No water in pool.
