We stayed on the 15th floor with access to the Concierge Club on the 16th floor.
This turned out to be a great decision because we had breakfast, mid-afternoon
snacks and cocktails between sightseeing. The view of the harbor from the club
is spectacular.

My friends and I frequent Victoria for most stats, and we've stayed at this
hotel several times, as well as other hotels when this one was full. By far,
this one is the best in the area!
You can get some great rates on their website, and the service at the hotel is
fantastic! My friends and I are young, so we don't always get treated with the
same respect as older folks, but the staff at this hotel have always been
exceptionally accommodating of us!
It is a fairly modern hotel, and the upper floors have great views. This hotel
is also in a great location for folks who don't drive (like us). Walk right into
downtown, or to the Inner Harbour, in under five minutes.
Rooms have free wired and wireless Internet. A password is given to you at
check-in to access the wireless connection. Speed is decent. The rooms have
always been very clean when we stay here; we've had gross experiences, such as
hairs in the bathtub, at competing hotels such as the Grand Pacific.
Last but not least, the restaurant is definitely worth a try! Victoria itself
yields a lot of great places to eat, and the Fire & Water Fish & Chop House is
one of them! A little pricy, but worth it on at least one occasion! Option to
add your meal to your hotel bill, which is convenient. Love, love, love this
hotel and will be going back more than once.
Room Tip: We've found for this hotel that booking on Marriott's own website most
often yields the best deals.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This was my third stay and again I was very
happy with it. The rooms are comfortable but not my taste in decorating but I
like it here enough to over look that. The place has to be among the very
cleanest you will find, everything sparkles it is so clean. Every staff member I
have ever encountered here has always been pleasant. Pool and Exercise areas are
excellent places to relax. Complimentary Wifi is available. The beds are
comfortable, I always hate to get up. One thing worth noting and is a big bonus
for me, is that the walls seem to be very solid with very little sound coming
from other rooms. Both nights i thought the rooms next be me were vacant, but
discovered in the morning that they were occupied. I always get a very good
sleep here. Stay here you won't be disappointed!

I went to this hotel for business but noticed that it's more than a nice
business hotel. It's located near to a lot of restaurants and bars. Also near to
a lot of the main tourist attractions in Victoria. So you can walk from the
hotel and leave the car in the parking lot (underground and secure). Overall
it's not an amazing hotel but the location make it a good choice.

We head to Victoria every year for 'Be a Tourist in Your Hometown', great deals
and not the crowds one might expect. The place we usually stay at wasn't on the
BATIYH list this year so we decided to try the Marriot. Location was superb,
walk to all attractions. Room sparkling clean. Decor kind of stuffy and the
parking under the hotel was very expensive, $17 per night. Best to leave the car
at home if you can since everything is in walking distance from the hotel. Was
not impressed with the restaurant, just had appetizers to take back to our room,
I had to go down and order them, then wait a long time in the pub, the room
service was only at breakfast or something. The clam or seafood chowder we got
was way
too salty. But again, GOOD food is within walking distance of the hotel.
