Hotel location is close to the action of Victoria Harbor
and close to the very small "Fisherman's Wharf". This is
interesting more for the houseboats than the restaurants
and shops. Afternoon tea at the Empress is suggested in
the promotion for Victoria -not great value for money.
The provincial museum is a must see if you like history.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Coast Harbourside. I
booked the hotel over the internet the rate was
comparable to other hotels in the area.
Overall I liked the hotel here are the things I liked:
-friendly, well staffed front desk
-request for something that was broken in my room was
replaced quickly
-windows on two sides of our standard room
-one window was actually a sliding door that could be
opened for ventilation or view
-view of the harbour and the area very nice (not inner
harbour, Empress side but good none the less)
-pool
-duvets on beds thick
-paper delivered to door in the morning
-free internet access
-location by waterfront walkway to downtown - nice walk
-kettle in room
-good hot tub, very warm.
Some things I did not like:
-no fan in the bathroom (we could open the window and
the sliding door for ventilation)
-pay parking and it was a tight squeeze getting into the
lower level so I opted not to scratch the rental car
-no breakfast
-bit pricey, but paying to be downtown

We stayed here for 2 nights during a west coast Canada
trip and it was the nicest hotel we found. Its quite
modern with a decent pool and good location just 10
minutes walk from downtown (they also do a shuttle
service if you don't fancy walking but it can be a bit of
a wait as its first come first served).
Food in the hotel was very good and the only downsides
were the prices seemed a bit steep and wifi only worked
downstairs (but there were lan connections in the room
for laptops).
Room Tip: Ask for a sea view

We changed the allocated room on arrival to one with a
better view and less noisy from outside aircon. Good
location Fisherman's Wharf and its world famous fish and
chips.
Staff very helpful, efficient and friendly. Good
information.
Rooms and facilities fine.
Room Tip: get to hotel early to ensure you are satisfied
with the allocated room

If you are riding the ferry to Victoria, this is the
perfect place to be. A short 2 block walk and incredible
views of the harbour - close to everything. |
