Guest Review of the Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa in Victoria BC

How can you go wrong with a romantic night with your husband and then follow it with a day at the spa with your best girl friend? You can't here ... AMAZING day/night & day!!! They were fabulous, talk about getting your monies worth ... they got us checked in early, we had a relaxing dip in the pool and hot tub (this was a NO KIDS trip :)), followed by a tasty treat in the Pub. The next morning, hubby went home to tend to the kids and my friend joined me for a day at the spa. We only had a couple of pedi's but since i had stayed the night before, we were able to use the pool and hot tub again so we sat out and lounged by the pool and enjoyed a few drinks before getting our toes beautified!! Thank you Brentwood Bay Resort - we'll be back!!!

We had a lovely stay at Brentwood Bay Resort over a long weekend in May. The resort is very quiet, as it sits on a secluded inlet on the water, about 20-30 minutes outside of Victoria. For the relaxing, romantic weekend we were looking for, it was the perfect fit. We enjoyed the resort so much that we didn't even bother going into Victoria.

If you are looking for a quiet, low-key weekend away, Brentwood Bay is a fantastic choice. It's a short cab ride from Victoria that will cost you about CD$60 each way.

We stayed at the Brentwood Bay Lodge for 5 nights, it was a wonderful relaxing getaway. We were in one of the one bedroom suites with a private hot tub on the balcony. The room was well appointed with a nice spacious bathroom with a soaking tub and nice tile shower with river rock floor. We dined at SeaGrille as well as the Pub, the food was good at both, but pricey, although this is Victoria, BC so what do you expect. We also utilized the spa which was wonderful and I thought reasonably priced. You should definitely be aware when youj book that this property is a little ways outside Victoria and is best for people looking for a secluded getaway in a quiet area without night life. Victoria is easily accessible by car or taxi if you want to (takes about 20-30 minutes, taxi fair about $55). I would also not consider this hotel kid friendly, but they pretty much tell you that when they say not recommended for children under 16. In summary, this is a wonderful, quiet place for a retreat with your spouse/significant other when grandma is watching the kids!

Overall, you'll enjoy this place if you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing trip.

We definitely had a great experience staying here
Overall, an absolutely lovely boutique property in a gorgeous area-give it a try if you decide to visit Vancouver Island.

Guys, if you want to impress and/or pamper your special lady, this is a good place to do it! It is a bit pricey, though. So we might not make it back there for a while. But we'd LOVE to return.
