Stayed here while attending a wedding in Sooke, British Columbia. Hotel was good
at responding to request to fix a window shade string and a slow draining sink
in the bathroom. Great big screen TV and comfortable bed, with good maid
service. Food service at a breakfast buffet was not great, but a grazing deer
outside the window was extremely entertaining. Price for hotel was high for
accommodation, and beware of RCMP sobriety road blocks with less than friendly
Mounties.

We stayed at the Sheraton this past July. It was our second stay here, (our
first was in Feb 2010 w the kids), but this time we did not bring the kids :) We
caught a later ferry than anticipated, and checked in a later than expected.
Check in was very quick & pleasant, thanks Shirelle!
Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette. I liked the proximity to downtown
Victoria. We spent the day exploring and came back after an early dinner. My
husband worked for a couple hours catching up on emails (free wifi).
A great hotel. We'll be back.

The hotel is very modern with nice rooms. We were lucky to have a kitchen in our
room making it cheaper for dinner and breakfast.
The rooms were well decorated with good TV and free wireless internet which is a
great feature, as many hotels charge for this now.
The location is great in a quiet cul de sac behind the Costco but it never feels
like your out of place.
There is ample free parking also available. Staff were super friendly and the
gym and swimming pool was also very good, with sauna and steam room included to
use. The gym had a lot of equipment and weights.
I would totally recommend this hotel and for the price it was very good.
The only thing I noticed was that the pub downstairs which provided food all day
appeared expensive..

I had stayed here on a couple of occasions when I had meetings in Victoria and
SPG ran certain promos. This hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown Victoria.
The facilities are relatively new, but since the hotel is a wood framed
building, sound proofing is not that great - especially from the rooms above. I
question some of the quality of workmanship - as I had rooms with bathroom
fixture problems, and the laminate flooring is already lifting in one of the
rooms I had. The work desk is very strangely designed and not that useful.
However, the rooms are clean, the the hotel is quite new.
The room service menu is quite expensive, especially considering it is a 4
Points. However, there are nearby strip malls with various restaurants.
If you are okay with being outside of Victoria, the rooms are clean, the hotel
is clean and service is fine. |
