What an amazing and unique hotel right in the downtown
near the Harbour. So many things to do with-in walking
distance and at a reasonable price is definitely a hotel
to consider when coming to Victoria. The staff were
great at the front desk, housekeeping was good but
missed a few things.
The continental breakfast in the morning was a nice
surprise and the meals we had in the afternoon was
pleasant. Didn't have time to enjoy the volleyball
courts but can imagine the fun this would be at night.
Thank you for the warm hospitality and hope to be able
to return again soon

We stayed for two nights and received excellent service
and assistance from the personnel for our sightseeing
activities, like reservations in a restaurant and a
kayak trip. The rooms were good and for a reasonable
price. Maybe it was a little noisy, but it did not
bother us at all. We are tourists from The Netherlands
and for us the hotel was a perfect place to visit
Victoria, close to the harbor and legislative building.

Great spot especially if u are traveling on the coach.
The hotel is only 3 blocks from the depot. U can walk
everywhere from the hotel, museum, gov buildings, market
square, the em..."castle!" it's a large mansion - very
beautiful but by no means a castle. Good bar menu n
breakfast included was v.decent. The room was small , by
no means luxurious, but for a short stay it didn't
matter. Would stay there again.

- service was friendly & informative, we were given a
room on the top floor as requested
- room was spacious, with built in wardrobe & toilet had
a large countertop compared to a room we checked out on
the 3rd floor
- breakfast buffet spread: it was the same limited
variety every day, but for the price, we were very
satisfied with the few varieties of bread, bagels,
muffins, cereal, tea, coffee & fruit.
- noise level: could hear people whistling & talking
from the corridor, faint talking from next door, & party
noise from rooftop party area which our window faced,
however, we were tired every night so we slept well
nonetheless

Great place to stay within city bounds, yet a short walk
will bring you to the sea walk and more resort type
living. A great place to stay if you enjoy the benefits
of a lively nightlife.
As to be expected in a city situation, easy parking
accessibility is a hindrance.

Excellent location , at walking distance from all off
downtown Victoria attractions, and at only one block of
the bus stop to and from the ferry port.
Room and bathroom are somewhat small .

I liked that there was a pub in the hotel and a friendly
group of locals hanging out who made it fun. I did not
like that I did not get informed that there was a price
increase on May 1 no one pointed this out to me so it
was a big shock to me when I went to pay the bill and
the hotel staff acted like well you should have seen
this on the web.
