Hi,I stayed at Paul's Motor Inn in July 2011 for 2
nights ,they had a walk in special for $69.00 per night
for one person .The front desk was very friendly and
professional .I have to say I was impressed with how
clean the room and bed sheets were .The wifi had good
signal strength & the hot water was instant .You have
restaurants right outside the door a short walk down
Douglas st will take you right downtown .I have added a
few pics !

Centrally located, in walking distance to downtown. Room
was smelly, even after airing it. Old interior (bedding,
bathroom etc.) which requires upgrading. Free wifi and
parking.

I've booked this Motel after reading the reviews . Pauls
Motor Inn is the cheapest Motel you can find in downtown
Victoria.
If you use the package deal ($5 extra/night) you get a
$20 voucher for Pauls Restaurant where you can have
breakfast for example.
Microwave is included and if you don't have one in your
room, ask the friendly staff to get one put in, they'll
be glad to help you.

We only stayed one night, but I barely slept a wink. The
bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was really
stuffy. The sound really carries and I could hear the
idiot next door yacking on his cell phone both in his
room and while he was pacing around outside. We had
breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was quite good.
I probably wouldn't stay here again, too uncomfortable.

Hotel is well located. Staff is friendly. Price is right
The hotel is showing its age but it always clean and
tidy. Rooms are basic but comfortable. I am in Victoria
four times a year and use this hotel. Rates are great

To reach this Inn by public transport from Swartz bay
take the No. 70 bus (Express bus) the fare 2.50 each one
way. This Inn has a good location near to all tourist
attractions. We stayed at the city room overnight it has
a cable tv, room was clean and spacious and bed was
comfortable. They also have a restaurant- food was okay
it's not included in the price. If you fancy to queue in
a line there is a white spot restaurant in front of this
inn.

I would have rated the service higher except for one
jerk early morn of checking out, could not believe his
attitude. Stayed at this Motel many times and found it
to be well worth the money. |
