Guests Reviews of the Four Points by Sheraton Victoria

Hotel is located about a 20 minute drive away from downtown Victoria, and in
many ways, it is a big advantage.
The hotel is a beautiful Alpine style building, and looks pretty bright & fresh.
Service is nice & attentive (the maid was going out of her mind to find a
toiletry item I forgot). Rooms are enormous and warm, bathrooms huge and very
clean. great hotel experience at a very affordable price.

This was our first stay in a Four Point hotel. The hotel was very nice. Big
rooms with a nice bathroom and very clean. The service was very good and
friendly. We had breakfast in the pub. The breakfast was delicious. The service
in the pub was ok.
In the near is a supermarket and shops (outlet center).
To Victoria are 10 minutes with a car.

We spent two nights in September in the Four Points by Sheraton in Victoria
Gateway. The location was good, we were in 15-20 minutes in Victoria City
Center, great shopping is located directly nearby.
The rooms were clean, well equipped (nice Jacuzzi in room, Hot Tub and swimming
pool on ground floor), staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is menu-based,
they are unfortunately not offering a buffet breakfast. Overall a clear
recommendation for Victoria: Good, clean rooms with an excellent location.

We do some business in the Victoria area and thought we would try the Victoria
Four Points. The hotel met many of our expectations. It's close to downtown but
far enough (15 min.) that you are not paying downtown rates. Parking is free -
which saves you money right of the bat. The Business Centre is convenient and
free - although you may have to wait to get access to 1 of the 3 internet
terminals. The meeting rooms are satisfactory - the decor could be a bit better.
If your work takes you to the military base or the tech park in Saanich or Royal
Roads University - the hotel location is perfect. The rooms are what you would
expect from a Sheraton - although we were pleasantly surprised by the large
showers and general hotel cleanliness. The workout gym is large and well
equipped. Front desk staff are extremely helpful and the aboriginal artwork in
the lobby is very West Coast. There is a pub downstairs but the patio upstairs
is a far better eating venue (depending upon weather). Food is worth the wait.
In a competitive world, this hotel had done a great job in luring our business.

Lots of good things to say about this hotel. It’s got a convenient location,
just off the highway, about 15 minutes from downtown. Parking is free, rates are
competitive, there is no charge for everything from wifi to water. Great work
out area, pool and hot tub.
As expected, the beds are Sheraton standard – but surprisingly the rooms have
larger than normal (42 inch) TV’s. However, the room curtains are little tough
to figure out and the hallway carpet has the occasional wrinkle. But any
negatives are more than offset by the friendly staff, hotel cleanliness and good
food at the pub downstairs (a must see). There is a very nice business
centre/free internet area on an open second floor lobby, with a comfortable
couch and TV that gives it a “family room” feel.
Good shopping in the immediate area – everything from Costco to Le Chateau.
Dining options from McDonald’s to Milestones. And great parks and beaches close
by. Definitely worth the stay. We’ll be back. |
