The hotel is a few miles from all of the best sights in the city, but it is a
much better deal than the rest of the city. It had new paint & was well
maintained. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. Staff was friendly &
gave us directions to all of the sights, as well as tips.
It is across from a mall & has a small restaurant on site, as well as a KFC next
door & Starbucks two doors down. The bed is new & great!
If you are looking for a pleasant place to stay that is well priced, stay here.
If you are looking to be right in historic part of town or in a 4 or 5 star
place, this is not the place for you.

Travelling with a blind friend from the UK we came upon this motel fairly late
in the day. The staff went out of their way to find us a room for five nights
which was excellent service. Rooms were clean and spacious and the location is
just far enough out of town to avoid all the noise but easily accessible by bus
or car. Overall an excellent motel and will recommend it to friends.

Reasonably priced, this motel with parking in front of rooms was perfect for us.
We were able to walk to all the major city sights-Royal Museum, harbor area,
Legislature, Chinatown. We even walked to Craigdarroch Castle (a bit far). The
motel was clean and mostly updated and had everything we required but a
hairdryer. Staff was very helpful; we stayed 3 nights.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Ridge. We found the Inn to be clean, and the
desk staff was pleasant. We asked for a suite and got two good size rooms. We
enjoyed being able to cook in our room as all the pots, pans, cutlery, and
dishes were provided. We asked for a non-smoking room, and got one. The room was
fairly quiet. The location of the inn was great. We were right across the street
from the Mayfair Mall and about 10 minute from the Inner Harbor. We drove, but
I'm sure there is bus service provided since it was an easy drive down Douglas
to the Inner Harbor. The free parking was a bonus.

One the day of our first night, we had to cancel one night of our stay due to
heavy snow storm. The management said no problem and no charge. Called them the
next day to see how the roads were before we started out. The hotel is clean and
roomy. This is the 3rd time we've stayed there. We ate breakfast at the little
cafe at the hotel - good service and good food. Lots of restaurants within
walking distance.
