We stayed there for one night and paid about $81. For the price, it was a deal.
The hotel is average but the room was immaculous. Parking was free and there was
a free shuttle to downtown core, we had our own car so did not bother. Breakfast
was free in morning. Overall, a good stay for the price

We just had a stay at the Travellers Inn, Victoria , BC at Douglas st (710
Queens). I have stayed there before and it was an "ok" hotel considering the
cost. Most of it is a converted apartment, there are 2 buildings, they seemed to
have split the original suites as the rooms i have stayed in were quite small.
The cost was no different than most others. On arrival the Desk staff were nice
and helpful. I must say after a day of travelling and ending up at hotel like
this was so very maddening. I have stayed at quite a few hotels this year,
Kelowna, Nelson, Penticton, Phoenix and Tucson and this one was not great for us

For a hotel easy distance to downtown Victoria, this hotel fits the bill. Do not
expect glam or posh but very simply put, a bed and bath to use for the night.
Bed linen is a little dubious, looks like it was not properly cleaned but
otherwise, its ok. For an easy on the wallet budget, it worked for us.

I personally found that the Traveller’s Inn was comfortable, clean and quiet
considering it was on a main road. The staff went out of their way to assist me.
Disadvantages is that the free transit offered only commences after 0800 in the
morning and I needed to be at my conference at 0700. However, I walked the
distance into the city centre and it took me about 10 minutes at a leisurely
pace. I would stay there again as it suited my budget and as I way away at the
conference for the days, all I needed was a clean bed and room to rest over
night. No fridge in the room but I bought cereal bars and had long life milk
when I needed it. I am allergic to coffee so, although there is a coffee machine
which is handy. I enjoyed my time in Victoria and again thank the staff at
Traveller’s Inn for attending to my needs and giving me advice on what to see in
my short time that I was visiting Victoria.

Overall we were satisfied with the room / hotel considering the really low rate
we got. The room was pretty clean, but the bathroom was pretty gross. You
couldn’t even see yourself in the mirror, so I had to use the other mirror in
the room. The beds were pretty comfy, but the room wasn’t sound proof AT ALL.
Late at night we heard someone screaming & yelling out on the street, & we could
hear all of the traffic driving by. But we were satisfied for the price we paid.
It was definitely fair & I would stay there again if I could get the same rate.
