The desk staff at the Fairfield Inn were efficient, friendly and helpful. They
were able to loan me a connector for my laptop. Internet is free; there is a
computer in the waiting room for folks who do not have a laptop. My room was
clean and comfortable. It was in excellent condition. Breakfast provided many
options, including the make-it-yourself waffle.

We stayed at Fairfield Inn at Seatac on September 29, 2009. We had a clean
comfortable room and the breakfast was fine. Service was good and the facility
is close to the airport. The only two complaints I would have are that the
parking spaces are narrow and there should be more space alloted for parking.
Also, prices are somewhat on the high side, but considering taxes and the
general market in the area, probably not unreasonably so.

I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn over 40 nights during the past seven years.
I have stayed at other Marriott properties in the area (south, north, downtown)
during this period of time but most of the time I stayed at this hotel. It is
located close to the airport which is one of the reasons why I stay there.
There is a free shuttle service. The wait for the shuttle service has been ten
to fifteen minutes most of the times. Also, you can use the shuttle service to
go to a local restaurant like Spencer's Steaks & Chops, 13 Coins and etc. I like
the fact that breakfast starts at 5:00 AM in case if you have an early flight or
have an early appointment.
The free breakfast is above average when compared to other hotels in this class.
The rooms have been clean. There is plenty of space in the rooms that I have
during my stay.
This hotel is an older Fairfield Inn so it may not be as ‘current’ as the newer
Fairfield. However, it seems like the hotel tries to maintain their property and
keep it current as much as they can.
In regards to price, it is a decent value. I have had room rates of $ 70 to $ 80
before the rates went up to $ 120 range. I wish the hotel has a ‘pantry’ like
the Courtyards so that you can buy snacks, sundries and etc. During my stays, I
went across the parking lot to the Holiday Inn Express and purchase items from
their pantry. The hotel does have vending machines but it is my preference to
put these items on my hotel bill or use a credit card instead of using cash
which is pain in the butt for my expense reports.
The front desk service has ranged from average to above average. |
