We requested a King size bed and got 2 Queen. Our room was a very long walk for
my husband and myself. We are in our 70’s and had to walk out of the building
through a parking lot to get to our room. We had traveled all day and had a
early flight the next morning and the location of our room was very noisy. The
next day to be able to get to the airport with our luggage we had to pay for a
cab because the hotel shuttle did not drop us of at departing flights area. We
had several heavy suit cases because we had been traveling for several weeks on
a cruise. This was another inconvenience to us and cost that we should not have
had, because we were told we would be shuttled to the airport when we made our
reservation

Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport
Nice hotel. Good food in hotel bar. Easy to get to local light rail which runs
right into the downtown area for $2.50 US one way or $5.00 US for day pass.

Very friendly, well-maintenance by the side of a small lake
Everything is excellent except that Doubletree system showed that I only have
one room reserved instead of two. Not sure who’s booking system has fault. But,
the staff fixed the issue right away. The doorwoman helped us to move our
luggage which is a big help. Because, this is a big hotel complex. It’s a long
walk to our rooms. The bed is comfortable and you can see a small lake and trees
right from your balcony. The room is very clean and spacious. Lobby area and
restaurant is well decorated. All staff (check-in counter, doorman, driver,
waitress) are very friendly. They also offer shuttle service with a very
reasonable price. We use the shuttle to drive us to the pier 91 for our cruise.
By the way, if you book Princess cruise, you can even check-in there to get your
boarding pass. No need to stand in line in the terminal. You still need to carry
your luggage to drop in the terminal thought.

Great Experience. Would recommend!
We were very happy with our experience and we would definitely recommend the
Doubletree. It was a short wait for a free Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport
shuttle from the airport to the hotel and about a 5 minute ride. The clerk and
concierge were pleasant and helpful as we did have several questions about going
to the Port for a cruise. After a quick and easy check in we found the rooms to
be large, clean and comfortable. The restaurants were quite good. The shuttle
back to the airport runs often so there is no problem getting back to the
airport. We were pleased with everything and would go back.

Okay for a business trip
I booked this hotel due to their rate and because the company we were visiting
recommended it. Staff know to be polite and say yes to everything but many times
they just didn’t have a clue. The concierge was great. The hotel is close to the
air rail and some shopping . The breakfast buffet although huge wasn’t very
good. If I ever go back to Seattle, I probably would try a different location.

Maximum comfort
Totally lives up to the Doubletree standard in comfort, amenities, great staff.
The only suggestion I would make would be to offer golf-cart transportation
between the lobby and the farthest "wings" of the hotel. It was a very long walk
to get to & from the end of 5b!

The Best Hotel for Cookies - Free
The service was superb. The ambience relaxing. The on-site breakfast restaurant
was especially convenient when you just want to sit and read the papers while
waiting for your roommates to wake. The shuttle was also convenient. However
parking was not free! I like the free cookies!

Doubletree at SeaTac
Hotel was situated very close to SeaTac with convenient shuttle service.
Internet access was offered at no cost. Only issue was that apparently, no
enforcement of Non-Smoking rules were followed. Rude patrons were smoking
(cigars) and causing much discomfort to others including children. I placed
calls, and no one came to speak to those individuals. Frankly, this was the only
unpleasantry in my short stay. But, one that tainted my impression in a negative
manner.

We stayed here on a lay over home from Cancun. It was great to have a
comfortable bed and room on our final night of holidays. The kids loved the pool
which was warmer than the ones at the resort in Cancun which we could not
believe as we were in Seattle! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the
cookies after a long flight when we were waiting to check inn. Just a nice
touch! Shuttle was convenient and would definitely stay here again.

As prior reviewers state, great place to stay the night before a flight. Stayed
with my teenage son. Wonderfully quiet, considering the airport is literally
across the street. Rooms large and comfortable. But still charging for the
internet!! (and no in room wireless). It may be a profit center, but when Best
Western gives free internet, it is time to change the policy. Also, charge for
parking for overnight quests leaves a sour taste. I understand charging when
leaving the car consecutive days when not using the hotel, but there shouldn't
be a charge at a suburban hotel for guests for one night.
