OK for late night flight arrivals
Our flight came in late in the evening. The hotel shuttle came within minutes of
calling the hotel. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport. The hotel
staff was very nice, polite and helpful. The room is dated and in need of some
minor repair. They did offer a limited breakfast buffet in the morning.

A fine deal for the price
I attended a 4-day conference at the Hilton about five blocks away but stayed
here at nearly 1/3 the conference discount price. Staff was pleasant and
courteous. Room was pretty much as expected - no frills. Very clean. Bathroom
was immaculate, which I did not expect. Beverage vending machine on my floor was
completely empty, but machine on the main floor was stocked. Did not use the ice
machine. I didn’t eat breakfast there but the buffet area was getting heavy use
each morning; offered the usual budget foods (mostly starch) and looked like
there was a cook-your-own waffle maker. Had a room on the third floor and I
could hear the occupants above me walking around their room. South side rooms
(including mine) overlook the Enterprise rental dealer and car wash, a 24/7
operation. Fourtanetly (or not) the room’s air conditioner was so loud and
rattling that I couldn’t hear the car wash. But if I didn’t run the fan blower
or the A/C the room became intolerably stuffy, which is not usually an issue for
me. Light sleepers may find the A/C noise a problem. But for the price, better
than most. Really quite clean. Would stay there again, especially for an
overnight prior to flying out of SeaTac.

The staff was helpful. I would stay here again if I were traveling to Seattle.

Satisfactory stay
For a short stay, the hotel was satisfactory. The room was clean but the
television did not work properly. Also, there was no one to help me take my
luggage to the room. But, the hotel has a shuttle service to and from the
airport and that was a plus.

Stay elsewhere if you can afford to.
The room was smelly with the odor of Christmas tree, rear view mirror hangers.
We peeled off the comforter and left it in a corner because we knew it wasn’t
clean. The characters who roomed there the nights we stayed were noisy. The
walls are paper thin. The toilet randomly flushed throughout the night.
Fortunately, most of the days were spent away from this 1 star palace. Seattle,
Olympic National Park, and Mt. Rainer National park are something to behold. But
this Day’s Inn: fail. At least this puppy is close to the airport.

No Thank You
The hotel is fine if you want a very fast stop over. I have stayed in other
hotels in this chain and they have been better. It definitely needs room make
over - especially carpet!! The continental breakfast in the morning was subpar.
Jelly’s for toast were old since they had turned to glue. Glad it was only 1
night stay.

Great location for travelers
Close to the airport. They free shuttle every half hour. The hotel is next door
to a car rental service.

Seattle
The hotel was ok and the staff helpful with one exception. I was traveling with
four (4) persons and asked about transportation to the pier to board a cruise.
The hotel attendant told me that a taxi would only seat two (2) persons due to
"local rules" and the "5 bags" we had. She said that a taxi would charge me
about $45 and my party would need two taxis for about $90. Then she recommended
a town car. The town car would only charge $57 and would be able to accommodate
everyone. She called one for me. Latter at the pier, I found out that there was
no "local rule" about how many people a taxi could accommodate. I also found out
that a taxi would have only charged me $32 to take me and everyone in my party
to the pier.

Would look around for similar price
This was a basic hotel near the airport. Some guy was hogging the computer at
11:00 PM and would not get off after an hour. Room was clean but has seen a few
visitors. Location was great but not the place you would walk around in at
night. We arrived late and had early flight. This was located very close to the
airport. It was not a dangerous place but not scenic.

Basically it is a nice hotel.
The clerk at the counter was polite and helpful. The furniture in the room was
well maintained. Service was good too.

Nice place
I would have liked an extra chair in the room. Otherwise, no complaints. |
