Leavenworth is the next best thing to being in Munich!Live music, German food, arts and crafts, Bavarian clothing sale, and activities for the whole family. Our very first Oktoberfest was held in October 1998 which was attended by about 400 people. The next year about 1700 people attended the festival, and a band was brought in from Germany. The festival continued to grow each year and in 2003, a second weekend was added and two bands were brought in from Germany in addition to many performers from the US. By 2005 attendance had grown to 10,000, and the Leavenworth festival was ranked as one of the top Oktoberfest celebrations in the country. What started a decade ago as a single weekend of festival has grown over the years. Now, Oktoberfest operates 3 full weekends of fun filled activities for the whole family. Oktoberfest in Leavenworth is a festival the whole family will enjoy! A Kinderplatz for the young ones with climbing wall and bouncy toys, clowns and magicians. Vendor booths with crafts, souvenirs, and German items. Good food with traditional German sausages. Continuous entertainment with some of Germany’s favorite bands Bavarian Parade on Saturdays at 12:00. Join us for Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, Washington’s Bavarian Village, A traditional Bavarian Festival that the whole family will enjoy. Activities will center in the Festhalle and Tent on Front Street..
