Welcome to the Great Wall Shopping Mall, a Pan-Asian experience without
flying out of Sea-Tac. Our mall is situated on 9 acres off the intersection of
East Valley Highway and 180th/42nd St. at the North tip of the city of Kent.
This carefully selected location is also home to the Swedish household store
“IKEA” and also the Valley Medical Centers. A convenient exit off Highway 167,
we have come to name our little corner of this community as “Exit 1 (off Hwy
167) @ the Tri-Divide” due to the 3 city conjunction divided by the main roads
representing cities of Kent, Renton, and Tukwila.
The mall is the first of its’ kind establishment here in the Greater Puget Sound
Region. Combining the rich heritages of the Pan-Asian Experience, we are a unit
of not only Chinese descendants, but also those of Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese,
Thai, Filipino, Taiwanese, and many more. This variety of cultures has not only
become a pioneering experience, but in hopes for a better future for generations
to come, we hope to offer EVERYONE the beauty of an authentic Pan-Asian
experience here at our mall.
For thousands of years, the Great Wall of China was known to have been created
to fend off nomads and barbarians of Outer Mongolia. Today, we find the Great
Wall Shopping Mall as a relic of not defense, but of gathering. We hope to
change the ideals of the past and create a new meaning to the Wall’s purpose.
Thus in the 21st Century, we shall see the Great Wall Mall as the bridge of all
cultures not only of Pan-Asian descent, but also those of all cultural
backgrounds. We are a community of people of this earth, and we hope to share
all our heritages with everyone that is to come and visit. So enjoy and relax,
come to the Great Wall Shopping Mall and enjoy the experience worth treasuring
for a lifetime.
