Lake Sports Complex
Located on Kensington Avenue at the west end of Burnaby Lake Regional Nature
Park, this complex offers a healthy array of activities. Enjoy the CG Brown
Pool, sauna, whirlpool, weight room, tot pool and waterslide. Burnaby Lake
Arena offers ice skating and activity rooms. Archery fields, tennis courts,
numerous sports fields and sports pavilion are also available. The City's
newest arena, the Bill Copeland Sports Centre, has a wide range of
activities, from sports events to trade shows. Across from the Copeland
Centre, west of Kensington Avenue are three new ultra-soft, all-season
artificial surface playing fields that are lit for 24 hour use. The fields
are used for soccer, grass hockey, football, ultimate and field lacrosse.
The fields are served by a new field house, snack bar and meeting rooms
