Hilton is located about 0,8 miles from Bellevue downtown. You can reach downtown
in about 4 mins. I checked in pretty late and was assigned a room right away. I
stayed in Room 330. Lobby is very nice and has a nice atrium. Lots of light.
Rooms are very impressive and huge -- Windows are door length and provides lot
of natural light,. Nice Desk, No fridge Beds are very comfortable, clean sheets.
Bathroom was good, clean. Coffee maker and supplies were adequate. I had
breakfast for 3 nights and was impressed by the offerings. I will recommend the
breakfast in mornings to charge you
I ordered room service twice and service was good.

This is a very average hotel and a minimal Exec Lounge area. It is in bad need
of remodelling. It looks like it was a different hotel chain before Hilton put
their name on the outside. The rooms are nice sized and the staff is fairly
pleasant. They have self parking which is nice so you don't feel like you are
being fleeced for every nickel and dime. There are a lot of good restaurants in
the area and downtown Seattle is not more than 20 min away.

This hotel is conveniently located near downtown Bellevue, with lots of shopping
and dining options close by. The room itself is big. The bed is comfortable. The
walls are solid -- I did not hear any noise from neighbors or from outside
traffic. The black-out curtains work well. The LCD TV has a fair number of HD
channels (incl. HBO).
My only thing is the hotel just seemed really hasn't been updated since the
early 90s. The carpet, the wall paper, the cottage cheese ceiling, etc. all seem
very dated. At $150+ or more a night, I expected more.

This hotel is what business travelers crave: consistent with the Hilton
brand experience and promise, well-located, good service, nice rooms.
The hotel is right in downtown Bellevue with excellent highway access
and is also within walking distance of several shops and restaurants.
The lobby of the hotel is really nice; it's off a huge atrium and gets a
ton of natural light. There's a coffee stand and lots of comfortable
seating.
The rooms are also nice. They are very large with big windows that let
in lots of light. The desk was large, the TV was nice, etc. I was on the
concierge floor and was impressed with the concierge lounge and the
quality of the breakfast offerings. I'm not sure when the hotel was
built, but everything seemed up-to-date and the hotel did not have an
"old" feeling.
The fitness center is great. It was pretty big and had nice cardio and
weight equipment.
Parking at the hotel was a breeze -- it's free and there is a huge lot.
That meant I was able to get a parking space pretty close to the hotel's
entrance each time I came and went.
Overall, a great choice for Bellevue.

Bellevue Hilton

I stayed at the Hilton Bellevue for a business trip and meetings at the
hotel ballroom. Checkin was fast for my $159 room, but the best part was
walking into the lobby with the sun shining through the great skylight
and bouncing off the marble floors. Elevators were all fast and once you
arrive at your floor, the hallways are all spacious. You know how at
most hotels a simple maids cart blocks all traffic? Not at the Hilton!
They have the largest hallways I have ever seen.
My room faced the interstate, but the double sliding glass doors kept
the room quiet. There was a tiny balcony. Room 850 was huge; the only
flaw was the carpet coming apart at the entrance to the bathroom. In
bare feet I could feel the nails that were supposed to hold the carpet
in place but didn’t. Nice flat screen TV, but only about 20 channels.
Internet was very fast, but costs extra ($9.95 per day).
Eating at the hotel was mixed. The restaurant was painfully slow and
overpriced for what you get. With tip the breakfast buffet was $20 on a
weekday. My last day I borrowed a car and went to Denny’s about a mile
away and had a much better breakfast for $8. But the catered lunch at
our meetings on the first day was incredible. Chicken and salmon with
shrimp salad, and everything was perfect. The best hotel lunch ever!
I was able to easily regulate the temperature in my hotel room, but in
the ballroom it was cold in the morning, and hot and stuffy in the
afternoon. There was another strange problem; many of us had severe
allergy attacks while at this hotel. I had to start taking Claratin to
get through the day. Once I got home I was fine. I don’t know if it was
the hotel or the local mold and trees that were in bloom, but my eye’s
itched like crazy and I had lots of congestion as did many others at our
meeting.
Within 2 miles is almost every restaurant you can imagine from fast food
to high end. Downtown Seattle was an easy 15 minute drive even at the
evening rush hour. There was easy access to local roads and interstates.
I would stay here again if I had a meeting at the hotel, it was nice. |
