I stayed in the Marriott Bellevue Downtown for almost two weeks during May in
connection with with. What I found was a great, well-managed, clean hotel with a
friendly staff, and all the amenities you need, when you're on the road for
business purposes. The rooms are pretty spacious, and the bed is your guarantee
for a good nights sleep. Highly recommended.

While visiting Seattle/Bellevue recently, we stayed at this Courtyard Marriott.
My husband had a medical emergency which required us to stay an extra day. The
entire staff, including the waitress in their restaurant, were extremely helpful
and solicitous. We even received a hand-written card (signed by the entire
staff) offering to help in any way. They were so gracious.
We couldn't have picked a better hotel as the hospital was two blocks away. (Of
course, we couldn't have known that we would need it when booking there.)
Aside from the medical event, the room was also exceptional. The decor was
pleasant, and tasteful. The bed was awesome! I did not want to get out of it
with its perfect not-too-hard-not-too-soft mattress, down pillows, and luxurious
down quilt. The bathroom was large, with a rain shower, granite countertops and
floors, and thick towels. The only "tiny" negative was the sound of the traffic
- but that died down at night. However, we never heard any noises from inside
the hotel - no doors slamming, no loud talking, no noises from the rooms next
door. Very quiet!
It has easy access to the freeways, a hospital (as mentioned), a Whole Foods
grocery store, Walgreens, Neiman Marcus, and several other shops and
restaurants.
Here's a tip for staying in a luxurious hotel for less money (at least this
hotel): This Courtyard Marriott is located in more of a business district
(there's a Microsoft office across the street) than a tourist area. As a result,
they have more available rooms on weekends than during the week when business
people visit. Therefore, the weekend rate for the room we booked was almost half
the rate of a weekday stay.

Wifi works great, room is very nice, and hotel facilities are excellent. I
highly recommend the Courtyard Downtown Bellevue for business travelers visiting
Bellevue.
Staff was also very friendly and I didn't have any problems with my room.
Parking is also a deal at only $10 considering the cost of nearby private
parking lots.

I tried speaking with 4 room attendants to ask for more linens, & none of them
spoke English, or knew what I wanted. Are they hiring illegal workers??!! Isn't
that against the law? The shower ran out of warm water very quickly!! The carpet
had stains. This place is fairly new, but is already starting to look worn. Very
tiny workout room for such a large hotel.

I had a meeting at the Microsoft offices in Redmond only 10 minutes
away. The Marriott was convenient to one of my wife’s favorite places,
the Rosalie Whyell Doll Museum, where she bought an antique doll. It is
close to restaurants and shopping, including a new downtown shopping
mall. It is convenient to the freeway connecting to downtown Seattle,
but not in the middle of the traffic and crowds like downtown. There was
secure parking. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with made to order
omelettes, bacon, sausage and potatoes, fruit and pastries. The only
negative was that each floor is a rectangle with the elevators in one
corner, and our room was in the opposite corner, so it was a long walk
to the elevators. Also, there was no microwave oven in the room.

Stayed for 6 nights on a business trip. It was my first time to Bellevue
so don't have a hotel to compare it to. It was a decent hotel. Friendly
staff, good food and a nice bar. Location isn't the best - compared to
the other hotels that are closer to the main bars, shops and
restaurants.

Had a very nice stay although brief, room was nice and clean and staff
were very nice and prompt. Definitely would stay there again. |
