Bellevue also has its own symphony orchestra and an opera company. Moreover, it is home to the annual summer Pacific Northwest Arts and Crafts Festival, one of the largest outdoor events of its type and one which attracts participants and visitors from many other states and Canada. Bellevue's cultural life will be further boosted by a major center for the performing arts, construction of which is expected to begin in the near future.

Bellevue Arts Museum
Bellevue Arts Museum is the Pacific Northwest’s center for the exploration of art, craft and design through exhibitions, educational programs and partnerships, emphasizing the work of regional artists.

Cascadian Chorale
This choir performs year-round, and one is likely to see the same faces in the audience time and again. It is no wonder, as the director has a knack for selecting seldom-heard pieces from well-known composers like Haydn and Saint-Saens. It is worth the drive to the Eastside to see the performances. Meydenbauer Center hosts many of the concerts but the choir often performs in the Carlson Theater at Bellevue Community College.

Bellevue Opera
Bellevue Opera has taken an important step into the future of grand opera for the City of Bellevue and the Eastside; and a step that will guarantee the future of one of Bellevue's most important cultural assets.
