This was a typical hotel room with an Ok breakfast, for the price I paid, I was
expecting something more...but it was just ok. They seem to have water issues as
everywhere there are brochures on saving water and all the faucets are water
saver faucets, also very "wimpy showers".

I stayed there with a group of 20 family members for 5 nights and can't begin to
tell you what a wonderful stay it was. For $90 (including tax)it included free
wireless, complimentary breakfast which includes freshly made waffles, hard
boiled eggs, Yoplait and Dannon yogurt, Kellogg cereal, tea, coffee and e.t.c...
Not to mention there is a business center that is free of use, so it was very
convenient for my family and I to check in before heading to the airport.
The rooms were very clean and large. There is a microwave and refrigerator in
the room, and it is useful when keeping our refreshments cool. The house keeper
came in everyday to refill our shampoo and condition, soap, lotions and towels.
We did not have a problem with their cleanliness, however the hotel can use some
new pillows. I found them to be too soft, and woke up with a neck ache. I don't
know about others, but I made sure to leave a tip for the housekeeper to thank
her service.
The location of the hotel was perfect for short distance traveling. The mall was
about 10-15 minutes away, and there you can find all of the stores you need.
Their supermarkets are Safeway and Albertson's, and we had no trouble finding
snacks there. You can also visit the Public Market Center, and there you can
find souvenirs, shopping or just taking in the view of Seattle.
Overall, I thought Silver Cloud Inn was a great steal, and our whole family
thought that the stay was extremely comfortable. We definitely recommend it to
all of our family and friends, and I would go back in a heartbeat. The only
things that can be better is their pillows and their facets which did not have
enough pressure making it hard to brush our teeth and washing our hands.

Stayed here after getting a great deal on Priceline. The location is right off
the I-90 about 20 minutes from Seattle. The hotel is newer with a nice lobby and
large breakfast area. The room was clean, quiet with comfortable bed and a 42"
Plasma TV. The continental breakfast is included to get the day going. The only
hot items are the hot water for oatmeal or drinks and the toaster and waffle
maker. They keep the kitchen stocked and clean though there was limited seating.
We would definitely stay here again for the price and location. The drive to
Seattle over Lake Washington was very scenic. |
