Stayed a couple nights at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue in March while down doing some shopping. Close to lots of major shopping and good eating (Bellevue Square has several fabulous restaurants). We like the Embassy Suites for what they include - free parking, and perhaps the best hotel breakfast buffet going . Made to order Omelets, pancakes, french toast, bacon... That alone for a family of 4 is about a $50 add-on. This time, the room was just OK. We found clothing left behind from a previous guest in the bedroom drawers, and the pull-out couch the kids sleep on was so lumpy they ended up sleeping in chairs all night. I mentioned both to the front desk and they offered to change rooms for us, instead I asked for additional bedding or a new mattress for the couch, and a clothing removal, which they happily did. Kids also enjoy the pool and waterfall, which although quite small and full of families, is well maintained and clean. The one thing I don’t like about this style of hotel though, is that the layout means all rooms face in to a common area that houses the dining room, and typically conference breakfasts, weddings, or other things going on in the hotel ballrooms. This means that as soon as one family with running yelling kids is awake, we all are. People just can’t seem to tell there kids that running laps or yelling across the courtyard at 7:00 might not be everyone’s bag of tea. But what the heck - gives you more time to enjoy the breakfast!

Excellent, good value for your money.
It is a very nice hotel, the complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The suites are clean and roomy. The pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel but they do have a sauna as well. Its nicely laid out with the rooms all facing either inward or a window. The furniture is modern and the fridge and microwave are a nice touch.

I like it here. Its clean, spacious, and practical. The breakfast selection is very nice too. Awesome omelettes. Can't ask for anything more really.

Housekeeping was superb. Nice amenities like breakfast, internet access. Suite was very attractive, and thank heavens for plenty of pillows! Lobby, dining areas, elevators were pretty.

We booked our stay using their January sale - a major discount, so we were able to get a room for 119.00 a night. We booked the embassador's room, which essentially means you get internet access and morning pastries. Not really worth the extra we paid, as the same pastries are offered at breakfast. The room was older, but still nice. Our king bed was very comfortable. Usually my husband and I have sore backs after sleeping in most hotel beds, not so with this one. Sadly, the sofa bed was not comfortable. The first night, one of our sons ended up sleeping in one of the chairs! The next evening, someone from housekeeping was nice enough to find a pad for the sofa bed. It made a huge difference. Bathroom was a decent size, nicely appointed. Very helpful to have a microwave and small fridge in the room - I think that's standard with Embassy Suites.

The pool was small, but nice - small waterfall feature that was kinda fun for the kids. Gym was great - they had several machines, including my favorite elliptical. Also, some hand weights. There is a rest room for changing right near the gym/pool area.

Breakfast - one of the better ones, though not the best for lack of variety in cereal and healthy options. You can either have a omelette made to order (several options, including spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, ham, sausage, cheese). They also serve scrambled eggs (or egg-substitute, don't think they use real eggs), bacon, sausage, potatoes, three types of cereal, yogurt, some fruit, several bread choices and of course - those morning pastries we paid extra for (really, we paid for the internet access).

Food was very good, though no matter how hard I tried to eat light...the food is heavier than my usual breakfast fare. Something about fake eggs, I guess.

Manager's Reception - nightly. Complimentary drinks (try the margaritas, which were quite good), with snacks. Same chips and ranch or salsa every night, with either fresh veggie tray or veggie/cheese tray. Not bad, not the best variety, but not bad. Drinks and snacks are free, but we tipped a dollar per drink to the bartender. Also, you can order slices of pizza, sliders and wings from the onsite restaurant for a decent price. Our boys tried the pizza - eh, not bad if you're kids are starving and you want to sit back and enjoy your drink before heading out to dinner. Not all that great, but it serves a purpose.

Everyone - everyone....was very, very nice and helpful. Really, some of the nicest hotel employees. Always a smile on their face - and a genuine one, too!

Location - rather good. Short drive to Seattle, much better price than what you usually find in Seattle. Beautiful drive over the bridge, over the island, and on to Bellevue. Great dinner options in downtown Bellevue, that made it quick/easy to find a place to eat. Much less traffic than trying to make our way to Seattle for dinner. I suggest Fatburgers for casual (they have healthier options to, Turkey burger was great) and Maggiano's for fancy/pricey but with enough food for another meal.

All in all, very good hotel. Could be updated, but hey - our bed was comfortable, the gym was great, food was rather good. I'm happy.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights for a family wedding in Seattle. It was a very nice hotel, with a wonderful atmosphere and very nice accommodations. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and better than expected. It really saves a lot of money when travelling with a family. The mangers reception was very nice and we were only able to go one night because we were busy with wedding activities and sight seeing. The pool with the waterfall was very nice and the gym looked good too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Seattle. It was my first time staying at an Embassy Suites and I will definitely stay at another one of these hotels whereever I'm travelling.
